Sept 3 Hurricane Earl Updates
10:10 AM: Earl is currently producing the heaviest rain in the coastal areas for the Mid Atlantic, however Earl's rain is further west than expected, with the westernmost rain bands in eastern Pennsylvania, which could be a sign that a good part of New Jersey could see at least some rain today, with heavy rain in eastern Long Island. There are also locally heavy thunderstorms currently in Long Island. Earl will turn more NE over the day, and the western bands of Earl will continue to move northeast as well, however they will likely be far west enough that Philadelphia and NYC see some light to moderate rain today.
